Lo scopo principale di BeingDecoder è configurare i parametri della scheda CanBus-controller, come i parametri CanBus o il trigger di logging.
La stessa interfaccia è in grado di gestire il download dei log e la conversione.
Come configurare i parametri CanBus?

The highlight interface permits to change CanBus parameters, the field are explained only for CanBus line 1, but are the same for second one, below the meaning of fields:
- Enable CanBus, if checkbox si flaged the board is able to log, otherwise the bus is shutdown.
- CanBus speed that can be from 1000000 to 33333 bit/s.
- Mode, permits to select Operating mode of CanBus transceiver. Nor->normal mode permits to send ack to other Node,it is the standard way of use and is strongly recommended. Sil->silent mode don't send ack to the other node, edit only if you have advanced skills.

- Select between List masking mode and Mask masking mode.
- Apply changing.
Come configurare il trigger di log?

Log trigger permits to start logging only when a condition is verified, that can increase efficiency of the system, logging only usefull informations.
Three different trigger mode are available:
- Always, permits to start logging when the board is switched on.
- ID, permits to start log when the specified ID was found inside CanBus traffic.
- Signal, permits to start log when particular condition over signal is meet. This mode requires a .json configuration (.json generator from .dbc). The file should be select using Candb button or writing path directly inside text box. Once .json file is updated is possible to select a signal from database and specify a particular log starting condition over that signal.

Save configuration is very easy:
- You can specify ouput path clicking on the button and selecting the folder from explorer.
- Config Generator button permit to generate actually config.bei file that contains all the information about CanBus configuration and trigger.
Come inviare il file di configurazione al CanBus-Controller?
Uno sguardo al file system del CanBus-Controller!
When CanBus-Controller board is connected using USB (only data cable USB-C to USB-A are compatible) or microSD is plugged inside PC, is possible to see board file system:
- Config folder, contains only the config.bei file. In order to change configuration is enough to overwrite this file directly from BeingDecoder or manually. If file is not present or wrong, the board can't work correctly. Only file generated using BeingDecoder are compatible
- Error folder, contains log errors.
- Log folder, contains log file with a progressive number.
- Stream folder, usefull to stream CanBus data present in a particular file over CanBus network.
- Update folder, usefull in order to update firmware board, is enough to put inside this folder the new firmware and automatically after reboot board will start upload procedure.
Come convertire i dati di log?

Convert data is really intuitive:
- You have to select log data to convert, it is possible also to specify directly board file system. Log data are inside Log folder and have .brc extension. It is possible to write directly log file path or use Log button to open explorer.
- You have to select a .json file configuration (how to generate .json) typing path or using button.
- You have to select output path, typing path or using button.
- You have to type file name, usually is better to set .csv extension, but is not mandatory.
- Since the log contains the native frequency of CanBus packet, this parameter permits to resample log to wanted frequency (better don't overcome real channel frequency, means oversample!).
- Smart check box, if checked permits to increase conversion speed, but it analyse only first fraction of data to determins how generate ouput file, if you want to be sure to convert all packets smart should be disable.
- Start conversion.
- Permits to check conversion status.

When you buy any BeingRobotic device you have the right to BeingDecoder licence. You need to install BeingLicencer and follow the below steps:
- Open the installed program and press the copy button
- After logging in to beingrobotic.com, it will be visible in the upper part of this page the license generator. Paste the previously copied code and press the "Request license" button
- After a few seconds, a new interface will be visible. Press the copy button or copy the entire code manually.
- Paste the code inside the lower text box.
- Press the "Set license" button.
Now you can use the BeingDecoder application.
Problemi con l'installazione?

We are waiting for digital signature for our applications, so sometimes windows show the follow message, in order to install follow the step below:
- Click on more.
- The problem is realate to Publisher that is Unknown for now.
- Click on Run anyway button.
You surely noticed that we never ask for administrative privileges because the software doesn't have to access any kind of system file, it just has to read and write files.
